Sebago Lake

Sunny days mean trips to the lake.  My kids are little fish!

I love Sebago because so much of the swimming area is about a foot deep or less.  The kids can swim around with cute little guppies without floats on.

They tried so very hard to catch a fish!

The baby bump/Mia's pillow.
Our littlest lady's arrival is approaching!  And apparently she is not that little... I have to have another ultrasound, because I am still measuring so big.  At least I'll get to see her cute little face again. :)

Logan was so excited about his sand castle he built on his lap.  Ry and I chuckled at the placement of his castles "flag."  Love innocent little kiddos.

4th of July

Ry had to work on the 4th, so we tried to cram in all our fun before he had to leave.  Then the kids and I went to watch the new Pixar movie, Inside Out.  The kids loved it, and took it as a good substitute for fireworks, since there was no way I was hiking up a 2 mile hill pushing them in the stroller to watch.  I didn't really want to give birth in the middle of Portland. :)

Mia is 3!

This beautiful, independent, spunky little lady is three!  I still can't believe it.
Mia is such a bright light in our lives.  She is so very happy, and loves to play pretend...her imagination is amazing! And she is always saying the funniest things.  She loves to take care of everyone, and is always making sure everyone around her is happy.   Mia loves to help me everything... especially baking.  She loves to wear beautiful dresses, and curtseys and twirls whenever she has one on.  We also just started her in dance class, and she is so stinking adorable!  She is such a little goofball, and has become such a daddy's girl recently.  She also loves to give hugs and kisses..which is quite a change from last year. :)  Her big brother is her hero, even though it is usually her who convinces him to do naughty things.  She asks me everyday when she will get to see her new sister's face.  We love this little sweetheart with our whole hearts and souls, and can't wait to see what the next year with her will bring us!

Mia has been completely obsessed with mermaids as of late.  I pinterested a cake and attempted to make it.  Mia seemed thrilled, so I call it a success. :)

She requested pink pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles for her breakfast.  And blueberry muffins. :)

The funny little lady has been talking about her birthday almost non-stop since February.  She was so excited when she woke up to find that the day had finally arrived!

She immediately put on her mermaid tail and cradled her new mermaids.

She wanted a swimming party with her best friends. :)

Remember the mess of paper mache? The final result... a piñata that would not break without the help of grown men. :)

The party wore this big girl out... she crashed on the bean bag.

I know this picture is blurry, but I love how it shows her mischievous little face.  She wanted pizza for her birthday dinner, and thought she was so funny, hiding behind the booth.

After dinner we went on a ride to the park... this is a distraught Mia because she couldn't get her helmet off all by herself.

Sometime's life is hard.

But it always gets better. :)

And this little boy was able to go across the monkey bars, all by himself, for the very first time!

We headed home in time for cake!

What happens when mom accidentally buys the candy with warheads in it for the piñata. :)

Strawberry Picking

Berry season is upon us!  The kiddos are great berry pickers... but we can't ever seem to pick enough berries for me to be able to make jam before their daddy inhales them all.....

After picking berries, we headed to Two Light's State Park with some dear friends who were moving to Colorado to start a big boy EM job.

Mia and Lincoln... she loves, loves Lincoln. :)

Logan loves, loves climbing.  And rocks. :)
