Summer Fun

These hot summer days  have left us seeking out ways to keep cool while having fun....

Mia swimming with some buddies. :)

Our little soccer star!  At least, he would be, if he would step onto the field.  When we practice at home he is great, but he's just a little bit shy during game time. :)

I get to be this goofy kid's coach!

Crazy kid. :)

Museum time!  Mia loves digging for dinosaur bones!

Our little climber.  Today I found her on top of Logan's bed, stepping into one of her dresser drawers.

She really liked theses striped lizards.

Crazy little olive lovers.

:)

This one will definitely be a soccer star.  She's named after the greatest, after all. :)

See, she loves soccer so much already she has to give it kisses.

This past week Mia discovered her love for french fries.

This kid makes the weirdest faces for the camera..

So does this one...

Funny girl ate so many fries she crashed.

And then she found the ketchup when mommy looked away...

Nielsen's Frozen Custard.  A.m.a.z.i.n.g.

Logan seriously ate the entire cup.  And then laid on the couch with his dad and watched an entire Star Wars movie.  :)

Pig tails!

Picnic at BYU.  I sent Ry to the store to pick up lunch for our picnic.  We waited in the car, and 45 minutes later he came out with two bags.  He got lunchables for Logan and Mia.  He got an entire chicken pot pie for us, and then had them cook it.  Such a funny guy.

BYU duck pond.

Mia really like chasing the duckies.

And she really wanted to get in the water. :)

Logan relived his early years by visiting his history classroom.

We also had to dip our feet in the JFSB fountain

Mia went a little bit crazy :)

After BYU we went to the new Provo Rec Center.  So. Much Fun!  There were water slides, lazy rivers, and water play areas that were perfect for Mia.  Logan even went down the big slides and overcame his fear of water.  We had so much fun that I forgot to take even a single picture.

After our water fun we headed down to Payson to a U-Pick Cherry Orchard.  It was so much fun, and we came home with tons of cherries!

Mia loved to pick, and managed to swallow a few cherries whole when her daddy wasn't looking. :)

Logan was a great helper, but kept disappearing with new friends that he kept finding. :)

Cherries!

Helping daddy.  And a hernia. :)

Funny girl

:)

Our haul!  On the way home Logan was being naughty, and Ryley threatened to leave him in a pasture with the cows.  Logan said, "You can't leave me with the cows!  This family is too much fun!"  :)

Someone got a hold of my camera again...

:)

Naughty kid.

This little girl loves babies.  Whenever she finds one she covers it in kisses.

Bath time with these two is dangerous.  And very wet.

Our little duckling

Silver Lake!  We seek refuge in the mountain tops on days that top 100 degrees.

Cute boy.  He was looking for his walkie talkie the other day and couldn't find it.  I found him kneeling in his room, saying a sweet little prayer to find it.  He found it about two seconds later, and was super excited.  Today he also lectured to his whole primary class on how they can pray to Heavenly Father when they are scared of the dark.  Now if he would only take his own advice, mom and dad might get some sleep. :)

I love this picture of my sweet, plotting children.
:)

She is such a daddy's girl!

:)

She got really mad at Ry because he wouldn't put her all the way in the water.  Little fish.

That water was freezing, by the way.  She didn't care.

Our walker

:)

I really am the luckiest mommy in the world

Logan found a stick and some line and insisted on 'fishing'

Mia loves to walk with her hero

Yep, they really are the cutest kids ever.

Logan picked me flowers.  When he gave them to me he said, "Don't worry mommy, no one saw me." :)

As we drove away from the lake we saw a family of moose!  A dad, mom, and two babies.  :)

These two are always holding hands in the car.

Mia likes to help mommy clean.  :)

Such a big helper!!

This little lady took her very first steps on Friday!  She took two steps to her daddy and Logan.  Then she took 5 steps in a row!  She still prefers crawling, but now I know she can walk!  I took a video, but its not uploading, so I'll try later.
