Fall

Fall is here!  It's still pretty hot here, but I feel that the slightly chillier mornings justify me dressing the kids up in their way cute sweaters and long sleeve shirts.  Ry is now working around 90 hours a week, so we are keeping ourselves busy :)

For a MSA playgroup we all went to the zoo.  Here is evidence of Logan poking poor Mia...something he does regularly.  I know that I've been a mom for almost 3 years now, but repeatedly having to say, "stop poking your sister!" makes me really feel like one.

I hid this particular blue stamp for this very reason.  He snuck out of his room during nap time and found it.  He told me that him and his baby were being monsters.  There is still a very large blue ink spot on his carpet I have yet to tackle.

 Our smiley little lady

This little lady is the prettiest thing I have ever laid eyes on.  I have to take about a million pictures every time I get her dressed because of this. :)

All dressed up for church today

Here is a video of crazy Logan.  We were at the neighborhood block party, and he was jumping around in the bounce house.  He bounced a little too high, and bounced right out onto his head.  I was pretty worried, but he stood right up and immediately started doing this.  I probably should have been more concerned, but he was in a significantly better mood after the bonk.  So I videotaped him instead. :)

Sweet little Mia has discovered how yummy her hands are...and my shoulder, and her blankets, and her shirts....

Preschool

Our little man is a preschooler!  So, I know that he is technically not even three yet, but he is super smart and very bored at home with Mia and "Mommy on the Couch" (Logan's new name for me since I started nursing Mia) :)  So, when a friend asked us if we wanted to be part of a co-op, we jumped at the chance.  Logan had a couple of hard days at the beginning due to separation anxiety, but is doing much better, and is really enjoying his time with his friends.  We are so proud of our guy!

Our little lady is getting bigger every day, and had her 2 month apt.  She was 11 lbs 6 oz, and 24 inches long.  Grow Mia Grow!

Logan was invited to a friend's "Princess Birthday Party."  He was the only boy.. so the only prince.  He was fought over, and received his first and second kisses that day from some of his admirers.

These kids are so dang cute I can hardly stand it. :)

We took a trip to the fire station with some friends.... Logan stole his friend's Hello Kitty doll and was upset I made him sit on a fire truck.  These stories will later be used as blackmail. :)

Every night for the past week when we have gone in after Logan is asleep to check on him, we have found this:
(That is a baby stuffed up his shirt.  He is insistent that he too has a baby in his belly that will come out some day, just like Mia came out of mine.  Hate to break his heart.  More blackmail stories.)

Our little lady loves her baths... she is turning into quite the splasher!

We are the luckiest parents ever.  Of all time.

Catch Up...

So I've made the mistake of not updating the blog for a few weeks... and taking tons of pictures of my cute kids.  So, get ready for a picture overload. :)

Since school has started the zoo is much less crowded, so we took a trip as a family. :)  This is how Logan protects Mia while in the stroller.

Riding the rhino. :)

Logan loves digging up the fossils at the Museum of Natural History

Logan loves his little sister

Love that pretty little face :)

Logan has been getting less attention since Emelia came along, so he decided to take matters into his own hands... While I was nursing Emelia on the couch one day, I was forced to watch helplessly as Logan picked leaves off of my plants and made potions...
In the two minutes it took me to lay Emelia down so I could reprimand Logan, he did this:

While in the process of dumping the dirt out of my plants, he managed to get some into his eyes, so I took him to the bathroom and gave him a wet rag.  I ran out to check the noodles and Mia, and when I ran back to the bathroom, Logan was standing in the doorway.  He greeted me with, "I'm so glad I cleaned the potty for you mommy!" and took off running.  I spent the next hour cloroxing away the toilet water Logan had flung onto every wall of the bathroom with the toilet scrub brush.  Oh two year olds.

Emelia's blessing was this past month, and family came to town to rescue this exhausted mom. :)  Interestingly enough, it is not the baby that makes me so tired....

The beautiful blessing girl!

With all the men in her life. :)  You can spot her naughty brother  in the distance who was refusing to be part of the picture.

Chubby, smiley baby. :)

Our handsome man in Park City.

We love her smiles!

Logan with all his girly friends

My sweet kids. :)

BYU played its first game, so we paraded our BYU apparel around our U of U student housing, and watched the Cougars win by a landslide! :)

I have way too much fun taking pictures of this little cutie.

Logan likes to turn himself into a monster with markers.  Every. single. time. he has markers.  I am terrified for when he starts preschool.

We headed up to Park City for the evening, and took a nice long walk in the clean air. :)
Here are some pictures from our trip:

This past month has been wonderful, since Ryley took a couple weeks off to be with us.  We were able to spend lots of time together as a family, and headed to Ely to spend more time with family.  Now we are back into the thick of things, and Logan starts preschool on Tuesday.  Ahhh!  Wish me luck.

Here are a couple videos of our cute kids.  Logan is singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in Spanish, and Mia is Cooing. :)
