Vacation!

We just got back from our travel-the-west vacation! First we stopped in at Ely and hung out with my family for a few days. It was a lot of fun to see everyone again, and Aydan informed me that my "belly was getting really tall" and that Logan was going to have "green hair, green eyes, and a beautiful shirt." :) We then stopped into Battle Mountain, the little mining town where I technically grew up, and I showed Ryley the park I used to play at and where I used to live. We were then on our way to Crane, OR, about 30 minutes outside McDermitt, NV, when our car decided to blow up. There we were, stranded on the edge of the road, seriously in the middle on nowhere, and after 5 minutes of despair this very nice man named Oz from Round Mountain, NV (go figure) pulled up with an empty flatbed trailer and all the hookups needed to haul us. So, he pulled us to Burns junction (also in the middle of nowhere) where Ryley's friends in Crane were able to pick us up and haul us to an autoshop. Everyone informed us that it was either a cracked engine block or a blown up head gasket and that we wouldn't be able to leave for a few days. So, we settled in at Crane and helped them unload four cords of wood. Much to our surprise we recieved a call later that day that our car had been fixed and was ready to drive. Somehow it was only a few hoses that had burst, and it was an easy and cheap fix. We were definitley watched out for those few days. We headed up to Sandy, and then to the coast where Ryley had fun flying kites and we all built lots of sand castles. We then hung out in Sandy for a couple more days, went on a hike, and then headed back home. Ryley got stung by a bee on the hand, and it swole to gargantuan proportions. When we got back, our baby bed was waiting for us (Thanks mom and dad!) and we played with that. That's our update, and the pictures are of our adventure and some cool new cookies Kassi, Cammi, and Aydan helped me make. I am currently 33 weeks pregnant, and counting down the days. Logan is a little squirmer, and Ryley is getting more and more excited. According to our last doctor appointment, everything is the right size, and our baby boy is healthy as can be. As for school plans, Ryley is going full time this semester and working as a TA in the Organic Chemistry Lab, and I am deferring Fall and working in the cancer research lab. We also finally bought tickets to a BYU football game! Yeah! This summer has flown by, and has been a blast. Sorry for such a long update, but I guess that this is what happens when I forget to update for almost two months. :)
