Our Evy is Two!

Happiest birthday to this funny little gnome.  Evy is the most mischievous, goofy kid I have ever met. She is always climbing shelves to reach candy/cookies, smearing toothpaste on walls, drawing on everything, hanging on my legs....you name it, this girl has eaten it/destroyed it.  She is exhausting.  Evy definitely keeps us on our toes, and we love her all the more for it.  We are so lucky to have her in our family!

Evy is absolutely obsessed with Moana.  We sing the song all day, she wears her Moana dress everywhere we go, and she insists upon being called Evy-Moana.  :)

Grandpa and Grandma Enz came to visit for Evy's birthday.  She was so thrilled to have them there!

Our puddle jumper.  Too bad she hates soggy shoes.

There and Back Again...our 2nd cross country adventure

We spent the night of the 4th in a hotel, and took off early the next morning.

Day 1: 482 miles, 7.5 hours and 7 states!

We spent the night in Hershey, PA!  We went to Hershey World and had the best chocolate milkshake in the world!  Then we headed to Gettysburg, soaked in some history, and spent the night in a super sketchy hotel.
Day 2: 50 miles, 1 Hershey World Tour, 5 hours at Gettysburg

We were still so bright eyed at this point...

You can still see bullet holes from the civil war in some of the buildings!

Day 3: 519 miles, 8.5 hours of driving, 23 Amish sightings and the cutest hotel ever in Shipshewana, Indiana.

The treadmill won that round...

Day 4: 446 miles, 6.75 hours, and a gazillion corn fields.

Day 5: 410 miles, 6 hours, and so. much.corn.

Day 6: 504 miles, 7 hours and 40 minutes, a beautiful drive through the rockies and one wonderful, much needed, relaxing evening spent with old friends.

Day 7: 232 miles, 3.5 hours and we made it to Utah!! Thanks to all our wonderful family who unpacked us in record time.  Now we sleep.
