Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from a reformed Vader, a resurrected Padme, and Luke & Leia!

Daddy and Meez at the trunk or treat

Taking a break to swing. :)

And to step on crunchy leaves

Logan riding a miniature pony at the Family Fright Fest

Mia was so very impressed.  She still makes horsey noises every now and again.

Carving pumpkins!

Mia's owl, Logan's cyclops, my toothless Minion family, and Ry's scared man & a ghost.  :)

She really liked to blow out the electric candles.  :)

I can never seem to get them to look at the same time...

My Luke & Princess Leia

Just checking to make sure her candy was still there...

Cute kiddos.  Poor little Luke Skywalker had quite the fever during this adventure, thanks to a bad cold, so we only were able to hit up a couple houses.  They still managed to bring in quite the haul though!

Happy Halloween, everyone!

4 Years Old!

4 years ago, this handsome, stubborn little man made his way into the world.  What a whirlwind these past four years have been!  Logan is the smartest little boy I have ever met, and has the most amazing imagination.  He is loving, kind and never fails to tell me how much he loves me.  I am the luckiest mommy in the world to be able to call this handsome guy mine.  Happy Birthday Jedi Logan!

Logan requested a "Star Wars" Party this year, since this has become one of his new obsessions. :)

We had Han's Rolos, Obi Won Kabobies, Wookie Cookies, Vader Cakes, Padme's Pizza, R2D2 H2O, and Yoda Soda. :)

Light Sabers for our games...

Jedi Training...

Death Star PiƱata

Logan, ever the scientist, requested a lab kit for his birthday.  We were only too happy to oblige. :)

And this is how he now spends every bath... test tubes and food coloring galore.  At least it gives me a good reason to clean my bathtub every day. :)

Oregon

As part of his 4th year curriculum, Ryley was required to do a rotation at a different institution.  So, we spent the month of September in Oregon.  The kids got lots of cousin and Grandma & Grandpa time, and I learned how to make a quilt!

Silly little Mia

Cousins :)

Logan absolutely loved all the "forests," and was constantly on the look out for slugs.

We went on lots and lots of slug adventures.

Mia and Grandma Enz at the creek

Swinging!

More cousins...

:)

Such a big girl!  Mia's all time favorite thing about our trip was Pippin the dog.  Two months later, and she still starts barking every time we see a sliding glass door.  :)

Funny kid.

The wood park!

My explorers.

Mia has to do everything her big brother does!

She does give the very best kisses...

Love him!

Love this guy too!

Calamity Jane's is a famous restaurant in Sandy, OR that sells just about every type of burger you can think of.  Their decor consists of individual dollar bills with drawings on them done by customers.

Logan decorated his own dollar bill to hang on the wall...

Another great thing about OR was OMSI!  So many great things there for kids to do.

Mable's 2nd birthday party!   We were so happy that we were able to go!

Daddy worked a lot while we were in Oregon, so we hung out with Aunt Ashlee.  She took us to the gorge, where we were able to enjoy some of the spectacular water falls!

And amazing ice cream of course....

All in all, this trip was a lot of fun!  We ended it with a wonderful weekend at the beach in Seaside. I still need to take a picture of the quilt Kathy helped me make. Mia got giardia from the river the last two weeks of our visit... which wasn't fun at all!  But, we made it home,  our family still intact, and with a whole slew of new adventures under our belts.
