And her smile lights up a room... when she decides to grace us with it. :)

We sure do love this beautiful little girl.  While she may be teaching her poor parents a whole new level of patience, our lives are so much richer with this little spitfire.

New England Fall

 Fall has always been my favorite time of year.  Memories of soccer and football games and, of course, meeting my true love come flooding back as soon as the air turns crisp.  Maine adds a whole new, beautiful reason to love the season.  The leaves.  Oh, the leaves.

They slowly turn from green to bright yellow...

Reds & oranges start popping up...

And, before you know it, the world is a rainbow.

Maine also has tons of adorable covered bridges.  We have made it our mission to see all of them!

The trees here glow, people.  They glow.

Happenings

Another lesson learned...

If you ever find yourself without jar grippers while canning, do not, and I repeat, do not, attempt to use BBQ tongs as a replacement.

This sweet lady waits for her daddy every day and then asks, "Jump with me?" He happily obliges...even in the rain. :)
