St Patrick's Day

With Logan having Irish blood on both sides, we knew a Leprechaun would be visiting our house this Saint Patrick's Day....

Logan and Ry set a trap for those sneaky little Leprechauns....
and caught one!

The little green man escaped, but luckily left his treasure for us to enjoy!

A rainbow led the way....

The first thing Logan asked when he woke up was, "Where is my Leprechaun?!" and then raced upstairs....

I made the rainbow balloon arch for a primary activity we were having later that day.  Logan thought it was a snake, and rode it around the house. :)

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

24 weeks along with our little girl.. definitely showing more this time around!

Our rainbow dessert cake.  Ry and Logan made it while I made massive numbers of sugar cookies for the primary activity.  Needless to say, we have all officially been sugared out!

Hope you all had a Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Spring Break

For the last time in a very long time, Ryley was allowed a spring break.  So... we jumped in the car and headed out of Salt Lake!  First we headed off to Ely to spend some time with the family....

Aunts and Uncles can wear a guy out!

Logan's best buddy... his uncle Aydan!

We made it back to Salt Lake City just in time for the snowstorm...so Ryley could sneak in some research and studying.  Then we headed off to Moab!  Some med students were heading down to do some service with skin cancer awareness, and since we had never been to Moab before, we decided to join them.  We originally were planning on camping, but the nights were still pretty cold.  Instead we ended up renting a cute little cabin.....

Life sized chinese-checkers at our "campsite"

And life sized chess.  You can see the cute cabins in the background.

Each cabin had two beds and a heater... there was a bbq outside, and Logan loved his hot dogs and smores made over the fire!

We spent most of our time at Arches National Park.  This is "Balanced Rock".  The rock structures were so amazing!

It was almost 70 degrees in Moab, and Logan had tons of fun playing with dirt, climbing on rocks, and looking for "wizards".  (One of these days he will learn how to say his l's. :))

Double arch is behind us, but really, I just love the look on Logan's face.

Me and our baby girl at 23 weeks!

Logan was such a trooper... he was starting to come down with a bad cold here,  but he kept on smiling!  This was at Turret Arch.

Logan and his cute dad at South Window.

It was so nice to get out of town for the week and spend time with family and my two handsome men.  All of the sunshine we soaked up made us really eager for spring!  Let's hope it doesn't take too long getting here....
