Popham Beach, an Italian Street Festival, & some ducks

Ryley rarely gets a whole day off, so when he does, we take full advantage.  Saturday happened to be one of those days... we drove about an hour up the coast and spent the morning on Popham Beach.  Then we hit up an Italian street festival in Portland for dinner, and had some smores with friends that evening.  I'd call it a successful day off. :)

On the way to Popham we got some pizza from Willow's.  Amazing pizza.  Amazing.  Anyway, this is what Mia looks like when she eats, well, anything.

Evidence that I have the sweetest boy ever.  On our drive he gave me his leap pad, which was playing "relaxing music", had me lean my chair back, and gave me a head massage.  Such a sweetie. :)

Our kids like holes.  Ry likes digging holes.  Our kids like Ry digging holes.  It could be a  Dr. Seuss book.

Mia in said hole.

Sand and Seashells.  The girl doesn't need much more.

We walked across a sand bar while the tide was low to get to this cute little island.

This funny kid was in a panic the whole time, because he was sure that the tide would come up and strand us on the island.  We made it back before that happened.  Barely. :)

Italian Street Festival!!

Mia loves ducks

Logan loves sticks

And I love that there are lily pads in Maine duck ponds. :)

And...one more picture of what happens when Mia eats.
