Ferry Beach

Some of what we have been up to this weekend...

We needed to go to the store and this crazy bunch decided they all needed to wear socks with their flip flops.  I pretended not to know them. ;)

The Miapillar!  She just loves rolling up in a blanket, inching across the floor, and then breaking free into a beautiful butterfly.

Ferry Beach!  Such a pretty little spot.  No waves, lots of white sand, and tons of hermit crabs.  A child's paradise.  And, of course, Logan chose this spot to be the very first time he ventured into the ocean.  The one time I didn't put him in his swimsuit...or bring a towel.  Go figure.

Catching hermit crabs.

Silly little lady... this little one has quite the personality.  And is very stubborn.  Recently she has become sure that the words to the song "Twinkle, Twinkle little Star" say, "How are you doing" instead of "How I wonder what you are."  She sings it this way, and insists that I do the same.  Naughty.  But cute.

We stumbled upon one of Ry's chief residents at this beach.  He had a paddle board and was kind enough to let us use it.  It was actually pretty fun!  I want to do it again, but next time I want a wetsuit and a life vest in case I fall in!

Because I didn't expect him into get in the water...ever... I didn't bring him extra clothes.  So he had to ride home naked.  He wasn't very happy about that.  He especially wasn't happy that I took his picture. :)  I'm a mean mom.
