September started out as mostly relaxing.. summed up pretty well by this picture of Evy.
The weather began to turn, as evident by Logan's wardrobe choices.
School started!
So we celebrated...
and once again mourned our future loss of this beautiful place.
We ate lots of ice cream before the stands closed for the off season.
This cute girl started "school"
We completed just about everything on our summer bucket list...
Cute preschool class
Logan discovered his love of mouth guards.
Evy traumatized more hermit crabs by giving them a roll around in her mouth.
Soccer season started!
The kids practiced their Chi.
These sisters got cuter.
The awesome new Children's garden at Fort Williams opened!
Logan drew my favorite family portrait ever.
We soaked up the last sunny rays.
Evy had art lessons.
And discovered how to make this face. :)
And this one.
And this one.
Then, one morning, we woke up disgustingly early and boarded a plane for Oregon!
Evy is a super flyer.
Then, we dropped off the kiddos at Ry's parents' house and flew off to Medford for some job interviews!
Such a beautiful area!
I was adventurous and ordered a huckleberry milkshake instead of my regular chocolate one.
Ryley was more adventurous and ate a camel burger.
We visited beautiful crater lake!
and enjoyed the best huckleberry pie ever.
Then we flew back to Oregon in time for a morning hike and to pick up Evy.
Then we jumped onto another plane to Utah for more interviews.
We were able to spend lots of time with family
And show Evy BYU campus for the first time.
And to break an arm.
Luckily he was easily distracted by technology.
He was a trooper and flew back to Maine on only ibuprofen the next morning.
Thank goodness for movies on the airplane.
We made it home just in time for October. :)
