Our last August in Maine

Maine in August is a fairy tale.  The weather is perfect, the tourists start to leave, and it is breaking my heart that this is the last time I will witness it.  Just look.

Two lights

My little frog catcher

Maybe it will turn into a prince?

Funny boy thought filling up his shirt up with sand was hilarious... until it went down his pants. :)

My selfie taking girl.  I have to delete about 100 of them off my phone every day..

Logan's first official race!

We signed Mia up, but she decided that she, "will do it next year"

Up super early in the morning for our Beach 2 Beacon run!

On the bus

So many people...over 6000

We did it!  Even with strep throat.

One of the fun new trails we discovered this summer

Our secret fishing hole... Mia caught the first fish!

One of our tide pool finds.... a baby flounder!

I wish I could claim this sand castle, but we just found it.

I can claim this mermaid, however.

And this hermit crab

Mia the crab.

Yet another Logan runaway.

My cupcake stealer.  Apparently, she can now reach the top of the counter.

Dancing in the rain

80's night dancing with friends

Bubbas.  That dolly head behind us is not even the most frightening thing there.  But, the light up dance floor is awesome.

our little monkey

We brought a spaghetti dinner to the lake, but were swarmed by bees so had to finish it off in the car.  Thank you, bees, for this adorable family picture.

Our unintentional 7 mile hike with the kiddos.

Sea glass finds

Logan's rock city

The Mia/Evy glitter fiasco of 2016

See?  Magic.
