Mia is 4!

I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but this beautiful little lady is now 4.  I tried to stop it.  I begged her to stay 3.  I even pretended her birthday wasn't happening until July 9th.  But, alas, despite my denial, she woke up on July 5th and was a four year old.

This beautiful little girl is fiery, fiercely independent, imaginative, and the best helper ever.

Mia is a lover of all things chocolate, bright pink toenails, dancing in the car/on mountain tops/ in the ocean,  and gives the sweetest hugs ever.  She is the best big sister/Evy head squeezer.

She loves to read stories, help me with anything and everything (especially making brownies and cookies), can fold a mean washcloth, and above all loves playing with her big brother and her best friend forever, Ellie.

We are so blessed to have this sweet and saucy little thing in our lives, and can't wait to see what the next year will bring with her!

For her birthday, Mia wanted a tea party with some of her buddies.  It was supposed to be outside, surrounded by cute giant flowers I had made, but rain ruined that plan, so it had to be in our living room.  But, the giggling girls seemed to have lots of fun, so it was still super adorable. :)

She wanted "a big bike like Logan's, but pink" for her birthday.

She also wanted a medic kit, like Peso's from Octonauts.

Evy was so not into the whole fairy thing

Such a big girl!  How did this happen?!

Mia got to spend her birthday with her grandpa and grandma, and she was beyond thrilled.  For the grand finale, we went out for ice cream at Red's.  Happy, beautiful day for a happy, beautiful girl.
