Christmas tree shopping!
Evy was super fascinated with what we were doing to the tree we brought in our house. She gave us lots of, "You people are crazy" looks, but happily joined in on the chaos once she realized there were candy canes to be had.
Mia and I went on a date to see The Nutcracker preformed by the Maine State Ballet. They did a condensed version for kiddos, and she absolutely loved it! I loved being able to snuggle this funny little lady, and she sure loved the extra attention!
This little one has just grown up!
She has figured out how to get into everything...notice the brownie batter?
Cookie decorating with friends
First snow of the season!
Logan's first grade pictures. Such a handsome man!
Mia has started to draw "humans" and I love them so much. This is our family.
Gingerbread houses!
Best buddies
Our ward Christmas concert. These kiddos preformed and they did so great! Our family also preformed in church the next day. Evy was dressed up super cute, too, but was refusing to take a picture.
More cookies, because....cookies.
Sometimes, when it is -14 degrees outside, you meet your friends at McDonalds and drink McFlurries and play cards and foosball while your kids tire themselves out on the play place. And because you are friends, you don't judge each other for doing this.
Huge box of presents, sent by Grandma, turned into a million different things.
Rock climbing!
Mia adopted the Grinch as her "little sweetie" and he came everywhere we went in December.
LLBean Santa. I wish I would have splurged for the Santa picture we had done at the mall. Mia was picking her nose and Evy was screaming and fighting Santa off while Logan looked on in horror. At the time $29 dollars seemed to steep a price, but now I wish I had it!
Negative degree temperatures and we decided walking around LLBean would be a great idea.
Because lava sugar is a good idea to make with small children.
Evy loving on her baby and reading her stories.
Christmas Eve! And the cutest little Mary ever.
Our Christmas Eve dinner
Evy was obviously not impressed by the whole evening
Christmas morning! Logan asked for a Nerf bow and arrow.
Evy and Mia both asked for a kitchen set
Ice skating on our duck pond. Another thing I will super miss about this magical land of Maine.
There have been lots of pop up retardants in our house since Santa brought the kitchen set.
Rock climbing date!
And, of course, some Children's museum fun, because where else do you go when it is below 0 outside?
All of these bad guys were apparently being punished. I'm still not really sure what to think.
Pie face! And no, we didn't pie Evy.
Sledding! It went about like it does every time. Logan never wants to leave, Mia makes it down once, and Evy screams until she is back in the car, sans gloves, with snacks.
