Leon and Kathy were able to come visit us for a whole week! We did our best to jam pack it with everything we love about Maine.

APPLE PICKING
We went Apple Picking, and Leon and Kathy treated us to 2 bushels of apples... so. many.apples. :) Thanks to my great mother-in-law I now have 12 quarts of apple pie filling and 3 quarts and 2 pints of applesauce. We have also made too many apple pies and apple crisps. And we still have a whole bushel left of yummy cortland and graventstein apples to last us though the winter!
PIZZA
Maine has about a million and one pizza shops. We took Leon and Kathy to Otto's to try our new favorite Baked Potato and Bacon Pizza.
