Vacation

Ry was able to line up a couple of his vacation weeks, so we had 2 whole weeks of family time. :)  Some of what we have been up to:

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens... so, so pretty!

Ry and I were standing where that naughty little boy is standing, enjoying the view.  Ry turned around to check on the kids, and I saw a look of horror come over his face.   He then blurted out several unintelligible words, but I understood enough to realize that our sweet little boy was standing a foot off the beautifully groomed trail, innocently peeing on a tree... and a group of tourists were coming around the corner.  I ran over, pulled up his pants, and began to chastise him... until I saw the look of utter confusion on his face.  We were in a forest... why couldn't he pee on a tree?  :)

Me and our big, big girl at 31 weeks... I'm measuring a month big!

Enjoying the sunshine... and chocolate. :)

Best bike rider ever

Flying kites on the beach

Our "trial run" for our camping trip.

Memorial Day!  So grateful for all those willing to give their lives so I can have this.

"Mom, I brushed my hair all by myself!  And I cut it all by myself too!"

Love that cute man

Ry found a pregnant crawdad at Sebago Lake.  Gross.

Sebago lake, with storm clouds rolling in

Lobster dinner... look at how huge that thing was!

Logan named him George and cried when we put him in the pot.

The Blueberry kid

Slightly stalkerish photo of the Bush's summer house in Kennebunkport. :)

Some cool boats lined up near the side of the road

Goat Island Lighthouse

Love Maine decor :)

Kennebunkport, Maine is full of old "colonial mansions" built from the early 1700's on up.  Here is one of our favorites.

Our most recent projects during vacation... an anchor wreath and a wood mail holder.  Ry cuts the wood and I put it together. :)
