Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

The Holidays:

We invited a friend over to decorate "Christmas Trees" made out of ice cream cones.  Logan wasn't interested in making the tree, but made a really neat blue-icing and sprinkle stuffed cone instead. :)

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, Logan became more and more excited about Santa.  This is a sight I was used to seeing by Christmas Eve... Logan in a santa hat, with a bag of toys (hidden in this picture), perched upon his (Mia's carseat) sleigh.

The Enz Family Christmas in Ogden was a lot of fun, but unfortunately I have no pictures of it.  I forgot my camera, and Kathy loaded some of her pictures onto our computer for me.  But then Logan "burned out the monsters" in our computer by spraying it with grape juice, destroying the hard drive, and I lost every picture I had taken over the past 3 years, except those that I have on this site.  So, all these pictures are from what was left on my camera.  On the bright side, we are now the owners of a shiny, new expensive Mac.  There goes Logan's college fund. ;)

Here are two presents Logan received that Christmas... a dart gun and monster jammies.  These monster jammies are probably his favorite thing in the whole world.  He wants to wear them all day, and if they are dirty at bed time the world ends.

Gingerbread house!

Mia had her very first sink bath at Grandma Poulsen's house.  She loved it. :)  You can also see the lovely rash she gets every time she eats anything besides breast milk.  She is making life exciting. :)

Uncle Aydan giving Mia rabbit ears.  If there was ever a little girl that had an uncle wrapped around her little finger...

We tried to recreate a picture of me when I was a baby.  Here is what we ended up with...Mia seemed pretty happy with this experiment. :)

Mia and Great Grandpa Poulsen.  He was the best at putting her to sleep.

Ry, Me, Stubborn Logan, and Aydan

Christmas morning at the Poulsen house.  It was a miracle any of us survived to this point.  The stomach flu, night terrors, water leaks, and falling ceilings made up Christmas Eve.  Somehow, the kids were still awake bright and early, and Logan did NOT want to wait for everyone to come up the stairs.

A beautiful Christmas day!  The kiddos must have been good, because Santa delivered... LightningMcQueenWalkieTalkies and a Baby Einstein jumper!

Despite mountains of presents, Logan is happiest with his trusty scissors and a piece of cardboard.

Mia having a girls' night with her aunts.

Daddy saved the day when girl's night became too much for the sleepy baby.

Mia and her Grandpa Poulsens

Ryley's quest to build THE BIGGEST SNOWMAN IN THE WORLD continues.  This one made it to 9.5 feet, and would have been a lot bigger if temperatures would have ever reached above 20 degrees, and the snow would have stuck.  This one was named "Zombie Snowman."

Drooly little lady.

Our big 6 month old!  Mia got her first helping of carrots on her unbirthday, and loved them!  I can't believe how much she has grown, and we feel more blessed every minute that she is in our life.

For our last night of vacation we went bowling.  Logan did amazing, and the highlight was that his bowling shoes were blue.   We sure are going to miss having Daddy around!

With the New Year came changes in Primary.. and I would like to introduce you all to our newest Sunbeam!
(This kid takes after his father... it takes at least 5 pictures to get a normal smile)
