11 Months & Father's Day

11 months

How in the world did my baby get to be 11 months old?!!  Here is a little of what she has been up to:

Mia absolutely loves her big brother.  Wherever he is, you can be sure to find her.
She refuses to eat any type of mushy food.  She's a big girl now!
She still only has two teeth.  Which makes the above demand a little difficult to accommodate.
She is our little monkey!  She loves to climb, and because of this, has significantly lowered her mother's life expectancy.  She likes to push her box full of wipes around to wherever she needs a step.
Mia loves birdies.  Or butterflies.  Or anything that flies.  She gets sooo excited whenever she sees one of these, and starts tweeting like crazy. :)
She loves any toy/object that involves putting things into other things.  I am so glad that we have no floor vents in our house.
Mia really is one of the happiest, sweetest babies I've ever met.  She loves to give kisses, and buries her head in me whenever she thinks she is being funny.
She can say: 'dada', 'mama', 'buhbuh', 'nonono', 'yeah', 'hi', 'bye', 'nightnight', 'more', 'doggy', 'tweet tweet', and can make kissy noises when asked. :)
She can stand for extended periods of time but refuses to take even a single step.
Mia is such a daddy's girl!  She gets so happy when her daddy comes home!
Tonight is her very first night in her big girl crib in her and Logan's room.  Hope it goes well!

The many colors of Mia...

We are so incredibly blessed to be able to call this little lady ours!

Grandma & Grandpa Enz came to visit this past weekend, and Kathy took lots of pictures for a color book for Mia and a number book for Logan.  It was so much fun to see them!  They watched the kids for us so we could take our first overnight date night since having Logan.... I whisked Ry away for a romantic getaway.  I don't know why it has taken us almost 4 years to do that!
Here are some pics of the crazy kiddos:

Two buckets

Six bikes

10 muddy fingers!

Baby blue eyes

:)

The naughty little boy who wouldn't let his mommy take his picture.  He has been growing up so much lately!  He hit a big growth spurt, and now all his pants are high-waters.  He weighs more, sleeps deeper, and eats like his dad.  He is such a funny kid, and was the biggest helper when mommy and daddy went on their date.  He has also started to go to friends house with absolutely no tears.  We are so proud of this little man!

Happy Father's Day to my amazing husband!  I am so incredibly blessed to have this man by my side forever, and my kids are the absolute luckiest people alive to have him as their dad!

Squirt gun fight!

:)

Grandma and Grandpa even got in on the fun.  Actually, I'm pretty sure they started it. :)

Logan was ruthless

Mia wondered what her crazy family was up to.

:)

She loved it when her daddy would squirt her toes!

She was not very happy when that bucket tipped all over her.

Logan modeling the alien he made all by himself.  He showed Ryley and asked, "Are you so impressed, dad?"

Other Logan funnies:
"Mom, today I'm Fale the Whale.  He doesn't have a tail."  He then made me tie his orange balloon to his bottom so that Fale the Whale would, in fact, have a tail.  Such a funny kid.
In sunbeams his teachers brought different kind of foods for all the kids to taste.  Sour, sweet, bitter...etc.  Logan's favorites were the cilantro, green onion and lemon.
He picks a radish out of our garden every night and chomps on it the whole way home.
"Fat Cats!! I love, love, love fat cats!  Even when it scares me."
His favorite go to line when mommy asks him to do/stop doing something?..."Will a policeman come get me?"  Apparently Ry and I aren't scary enough.

Sunny Days...

chasing the clouds away....

Such a brave little bike rider.... someday he will tackle those scary hills!  For now he prefers riding on the basketball court. :)

Mia likes to chill in her convertible.

Logan looking for bugs.  :)

How Mia sleeps now

Cutest little crawly bug around.  She figured out how to climb up on to our mattress (Ry and I are currently sleeping in the living room since Mia refuses to sleep with us in the same room as her right now) and then up onto the couch.  She also has started letting go of things while she is standing... I'm thinking we are going to have ourselves a walker soon!!

Logan will now only take baths if they are colored.  He is such a little scientist... one of his favorite things in the world is to line up a bunch of cups, put drops of food coloring in them, and slowly mix them up with each other and different types of soap with a medicine dropper.  He loves his "potions".
Also, the other day I overheard him ask Ryley, "Daddy, what is bigger, streptococcus mutans or candida albicans?"  Obviously this little man was paying attention when we read his library book about cavities!

Love this lady.  For the first few days she hated the feel of grass on her skin and crawled around like a gorilla, but she doesn't seem to mind it anymore!

:)

Her brother has passed on his love of sticks to Mia.

Mother's Day.  I am the luckiest lady alive!  I was spoiled rotten by my sweet husband and these beautiful children.

Mia loves cantaloupe.

And strawberries.  Her Dad thinks this looks like she is eating a cat heart.  Not sure how he knows what a cat heart looks like. :)

Bath time with pigtails!!!

Logan likes to draw on our window with his window crayons.  Then he lays his head against the window and rubs it back and forth as he longingly gazes outside at the playground.  This is why he always has a blue forehead.

These two love each other.  They are always making each other giggle, and love playing chase, lions, and silly faces together.  :)

It was beautiful the other day, so we took a walk up to the zoo.  Here is Logan the gorilla.

He really loved these little lego turtles.

Logan and Mia both loved the giant lego polar bear.  The lego sculptures were amazing!

Some more lego sculptures.

Logan saw someone with one of these on our way into the zoo, and reminded me of this fact about every other second.  So, at the end of our day we bought one of these monster sno cones.  Both kids loved it!  Silly little things.  Logan thought that the sno cone ladies were magic because they were able to turn the ice so many different colors!

Cutest pigtails I have ever seen!  She is such a funny girl.  I was sick a few days ago, and she climbed across the room, up onto the mattress, up onto the couch, and gave me lots of kisses on my cheek and then snuggled with me.  Such a little sweetie!

FAMILY PICTURES:
One of my college roommates offered to do our family pictures.  She did such an amazing job!  My children were pretty naughty, and Mia's poor allergies were really bugging her, and Natalie still managed to catch some great shots.  Thanks so much Natalie!
