More Fall Fun

This past week has been full of adventures!....

Last Thursday we went with some friends down to the Heber Valley Railroad to ride the Heber Creeper.  All the kids dressed up in their cute Halloween costumes.  The ride itself wasn't too impressive, but Logan loved being on a big train, picking out pumpkins, and eating pizza with his friends afterwards!

Because Logan's birthday is so close to Halloween, it gets kind of lost in all the crazy Halloween celebrations.  So, we decided to have his 'Superhero Party' with his friends this week.  We made capes and masks for all the kids to decorate, and set up an obstacle course and the good old jumpolene.  We also had lots of different foods that gave you different types of super powers when you ate them. :)  It seemed like all the kids had a good time, and I know that Logan did.

Can't believe our little hero is almost 3 years old!

Our little lady is quite the chunker!  We had to put away all her 3 month clothes today, and pull out the 6 month outfits.  She is such a sweetheart, and her new favorite thing is to chew on her hands and blankets.  She is also quite the talker, and loves to squeal!  We love this roly poly little girl!

October

My favorite time of the year is finally here!  Ry and I fell in love in October, and our little man was born in October.  The weather is perfect, the leaves are amazing here in Utah, and it's football season!  Even though BYU football is breaking our hearts... again.  Here are some of the things we have been up to...

Logan has officially stopped napping.  Sad day.  But, now I have a buddy to do chores with between the hours of 12 and 2.

My family came up for a weekend, and we went to Cornbelly's.  So much fun!

In the corn maze... here are all the boys around the smartphone figuring out how to get us out of Romney's head. :)

Mia is getting so big, and is learning to roll over!

Ry was working a 30 hour shift during conference... this is how I got Logan to sit still. :)

I love this picture, because I was actually trying to get a picture of Logan.. but my smiley baby photo bombed him.

I finally took the plunge and bought a BOB stroller.  One of the best decisions of my life.  I can now run whenever I want... and it glides like a dream... :)

We went for a long walk... in the rain

Cold Kids

On Saturday we went on a hike with some friends up to the peak of one of the smaller mountains behind the U.

A lot of the flat rocks had been made into furniture. :)

Fall

Fall is here!  It's still pretty hot here, but I feel that the slightly chillier mornings justify me dressing the kids up in their way cute sweaters and long sleeve shirts.  Ry is now working around 90 hours a week, so we are keeping ourselves busy :)

For a MSA playgroup we all went to the zoo.  Here is evidence of Logan poking poor Mia...something he does regularly.  I know that I've been a mom for almost 3 years now, but repeatedly having to say, "stop poking your sister!" makes me really feel like one.

I hid this particular blue stamp for this very reason.  He snuck out of his room during nap time and found it.  He told me that him and his baby were being monsters.  There is still a very large blue ink spot on his carpet I have yet to tackle.

 Our smiley little lady

This little lady is the prettiest thing I have ever laid eyes on.  I have to take about a million pictures every time I get her dressed because of this. :)

All dressed up for church today

Here is a video of crazy Logan.  We were at the neighborhood block party, and he was jumping around in the bounce house.  He bounced a little too high, and bounced right out onto his head.  I was pretty worried, but he stood right up and immediately started doing this.  I probably should have been more concerned, but he was in a significantly better mood after the bonk.  So I videotaped him instead. :)

Sweet little Mia has discovered how yummy her hands are...and my shoulder, and her blankets, and her shirts....
